GMHF Board
Nominations
The Geriatric Mental Health Foundation is governed by a 15-member
Board of Directors consisting of both members of the American Association
for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP), the GMHF's founding organization,
and members from the general community. The Foundation looks for
individuals who have a personal or professional background and/or
interest in mental health needs of older adults. Members may be
individuals who have personal experience with mental illness, caregivers,
advocates, health care providers or social workers, members of the
media, policy makers, or individuals of prominence who wish to help
improve the mental health care of older adults. Members serve a
three-year term on the Board, in a voluntary capacity.
